Prerequisites:


Add the ScreenTrust App purchased from Apple School Manager.


Before you use Apple Configurator 2 to sign in to your Apple School Manager account, you must have purchased the ScreenTrust app in Apple School Manager.


    1    In Apple Configurator 2 , choose Account > Sign In, and sign in with your Apple School Manager Managed Apple ID that has privileges to buy apps and books.

    2    Choose a location, then click Select.

    3    Select one or more devices or Blueprints.

    4    Do one of the following:

    ◦    Click Add  in the toolbar, select Apps, then select the apps in the window.

    ◦    Choose Actions > Add > Apps.

    ◦    Control-click the selected devices or Blueprints, then select Add > ScreenTrust.
The number next each app indicates the number of licenses the app has available for assignment.

    5    Click Add Apps, and the Screentrust app is immediately added to the devices or stored as an action in the Blueprints.


Add the ScreenTrust App using your personal Apple ID.


    1    In Apple Configurator 2 , choose Account > Sign In, then sign in to the App Store with your personal Apple ID.
The same Apple ID used to purchase the apps must be used on the device.

    2    Enter your six-digit verification code.

    3    After you’ve signed in, select one or more devices or Blueprints.

    4    Do one of the following:

    ◦    Click Add  in the toolbar, select Apps, then select the ScreenTrust app in the window.

    ◦    Choose Actions > Add > Apps.

    ◦    Control-click the selected devices or Blueprints, then select Add > Apps.
The number beneath each app indicates the number of licenses the app has available for assignment.

    5    Click Add Apps, and the apps are immediately added to the device or stored as an action in the Blueprint.


Add the ScreenTrust configuration profiles to devices


  1. Login to ScreenTrust Management System, open Setup Instructions in the menu on the left. Click the "download Profile" button to download the configuration profile.
  2. Connect an iPad to the Mac with Apple Configurator 2 installed.
  3. If this is the first time you’ve plugged the iPad into this Mac, tap Trust in the “Trust this computer” panel on the iPad.
  4. If the or iPad is locked, unlock it.
  5. Drag and drop a configuration profile on the selected devices or Blueprints, or do one of the following:
  6. Click Add in the toolbar, then select Profiles.
  7. Choose Actions > Add > Profiles.
  8. Control-click the selected devices or Blueprints, and choose Add > Profiles.
  9. Navigate to where the profiles are located, select the ones you want, then click Add Profiles.
